About SAAM

SAAM is the State Archery Association of Massachusetts, we are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that supports USA Archery (formerly NAA – National Archery Association) and World Archery, formerly the Fédération Internationale de Tir à l’Arc (FITA), tournaments in Massachusetts.

SAAM promotes archery in Massachusetts and provides archery information to the general public. Archery is an excellent sport for people of all ages, especially for families. This organization is dedicated to promoting the sport and assisting people in finding places and events where they can participate.

SAAM acts as the clearing house for the application process to the USAA and WA for tournament sanctioning. Ensures that all tournaments are conducted up to USAA and WA standards, provides coordination of USA Archery and State Judges for each tournament.  SAAM also maintains tournament records and Massachusetts state rankings for all USA Archery archers competing in SAAM sanctioned tournaments.

If you belong to USA Archery and you live in Massachusetts, then you automatically belong to SAAM.
