2016 was a qualifier year
for the
2017 National Senior Games in Birmingham, AL
and for the
2017 State Games of America in Grand Rapids, MI.  

To participate in the 2017 games, you must have qualified
at one of last year’s qualifying  tournaments.

SAAM elects new executive Board.

SAAM elects new officers for 2016-2017.  Bill Proctor steps down as President and is replaced by Amanda Ferrie.  
Lise Trahan is nominated Vice-President.  
Alan Rudolph is nominated Secretary.  
Verna Semple announces she will step down as Treasurer and will be replaced by Brian O’Hearne.  
Jeffrey Greiman is nominated as a Board Member.  
Olivia Morin returns as an Alternate Member.

He scored 598/600 points to set a new indoor ranking round world-best mark.

Brady Ellison dropped just two shots out of the 10-ring on the 60-arrow,
18-metre ranking round to score 598 out of 600 points and break a world record that had stood since 2001 during the first stage of the 2016/17 Indoor Archery World Cup in Marrakesh, Morocco.

Brady Unbeatable With Second World Record in Two Months

Scores 599/600 points to set a new indoor ranking round world-best mark.

NIMES, France – Brady Ellison (Globe, Arizona) scored an incredible 599 out of a possible 600 points in qualification at the Indoor World Cup in Nîmes, France today, breaking his 598 record from the opening stage of the series in Morocco in late November.

How to Represent the U.S.
in 2017 International Events.

 This year, there are many opportunities to represent the U.S. team in international competitions around the globe. Archers can compete for spots on the Master, Senior, Para, Barebow, Junior or Cadet United States Archery Teams (USAT) and many will represent the U.S. at the Archery World Cup and World Championships events.
