Norwoord, MA.  February 7, 2019.

On Sunday February 3, 2019 Coach Anthony Bellettini passed away of complications from diabetes.  Anthony had been hospitalized and in a medically induced coma since January 26.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Anthony on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 9:00 AM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham, MA 02026, with interment to follow at Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.

22 March 2019, Tokyo, Japan

The pictograms were released to mark 500 days to go until the start of Tokyo 2020.

Tokyo 2020 released the pictograms that will be used at next summer’s Olympic Games to coincide with 500-days-to-go celebrations on 12 March 2019.

The pictograms were created by a team led by renowned Japanese designer Masaaki Hiromura.

August 07, 2019, Lima, Peru - BRADY ELLISON BREAKS WORLD RECORD
AND USA MEN’S AND MIXED TEAMS BREAK CONTINENTAL RECORDS TO TOP PAN AMERICAN GAMES QUALIFICATION.

The Pan American Games is a prestigious multi-sport continental championship that runs every four years in the year prior to the Olympic Games. Recurve archery is on the program for the 11th time, and compound archery makes its debut this year, as a step on the path toward Olympic inclusion.  

World Champion Brady Ellison posted a 708 in practice yesterday, putting the world on watch for a new record.  Since Rio 2016, no one has broken a 700 in competition, until today. Ellison’s smashing 702 raised the bar and put another notch on the belt of his most incredible season to date.

Following the Annual Meeting at Memorial Park on August 11, SAAM has reorganized its Board of Directors.  Jeffrey Greiman and Udo Regensburger tended their resignations.  Three new members were nominated and appointed to the Board of Directors: Rachael Hathaway, Paula Paxson and Todd Wilson.  Finally the Board appointed the following officers for the 2019/2020 session:

President: Amanda Ferrie-Arberman;
Vice-President: Lise Trahan;
Secretary: Alan Rudolph;
Treasurer: Brian O’Hearne.
