SAAM appoints 2018-2019 Executive Board.

Following the August 5 annual meeting, SAAM reorganized its board for the new year. Olivia Morin tended her resignation as board member and JOAD Coordinator.  The Board accepts her resignation with regrets and wishes Olivia the best in her new endeavors.
The Board appointed the following
officers to a one-year term:

President - Jacques Côté;

Vice-President - Lise Trahan;

Secretary - Alan Rudolph;

Treasurer  -  Brian O’Hearne.

USA Archery Releases 2019 National Events Schedule

SEPT. 04, 2018, 7:49 P.M. (ET)

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – The 2019 archery competition season will be one of the busiest ever with Tokyo 2020 on the horizon and we cannot wait to see you at these fun and exciting events across the nation. Mark your calendars because you will not want to miss out!

First up, the U.S. and JOAD National Indoor Championships will return to thirteen regional locations across five weekends. Following a great debut last year, the National Indoor Championships Final return to Cincinnati, Ohio on March 15th.

The Indoor Nationals Schedule is as follows:

December 28-30: Ohio, Minnesota;
January 11-13: Utah, Florida;
February 1-3: Texas, Michigan, New Mexico and Chula Vista, California;
February 15-17: Virginia;
February 22-24: Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Sacramento, California

Norwoord, MA.  February 7, 2019.

On Sunday February 3, 2019 Coach Anthony Bellettini passed away of complications from diabetes.  Anthony had been hospitalized and in a medically induced coma since January 26.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Anthony on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 9:00 AM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham, MA 02026, with interment to follow at Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.

22 March 2019, Tokyo, Japan

The pictograms were released to mark 500 days to go until the start of Tokyo 2020.

Tokyo 2020 released the pictograms that will be used at next summer’s Olympic Games to coincide with 500-days-to-go celebrations on 12 March 2019.

The pictograms were created by a team led by renowned Japanese designer Masaaki Hiromura.
